Colin
Halliday (born: 1964)
BA(Hons) Fine Art - Exeter
Colin Halliday is a hugely talented northern painter and has
exhibited extensively across London and the rest of the UK.
We are proud to represent him in the North West
and a wide range of his latest original paintings are always available from our Lancashire gallery.
Drawing from the traditions of the
great Romantic painters such as Turner &
Constable, he captures the mood and atmosphere
relating to a place, recording his emotional experiences - often
from memory. With his brooding skies, dramatic sweeping moorlands
and serene river scenes, Colin depicts a very English landscape
in a very English way.
As well as gaining several public
commissions, he has work in the private collections of Adrian
Lester, Helen Mirren and Owen Teale.
