About Us

Ascot Studios is a highly successful contemporary art gallery based in the beautiful & historic village of Ribchester, in the heart of the Ribble Valley. Established in 2005, the organization has the following aims:

Over the last seven years they have established a strong network of artists, art collectors, corporate clients and investors. Ascot Studios is now widely regarded as being one of the leading independent art galleries in the country.

Ascot Studios is home to seven resident artists with professional studios and there is a further network of artists that are regularly featured in exhibitions at the gallery. Having gained the respect of international collectors and with an impressive client list here in the United Kingdom, Phil Harwood, Curator and Director of Ascot Studios, has earned his reputation as one of the most influential and successful art dealers of his generation.

The exhibition & studio space at Ribchester is over 2500 sqft in size and located within Bee Mill, a converted industrial north light building. The original features of the mill have been incorporated into the space - such as the high ceilings & cast iron pillars, but it is the enormous amount of natural light that lends itself perfectly for the exhibition and production of large scale artwork.

The gallery boasts a wide selection of original & collectible artwork from creative practitioners. The main emphasis is on original paintings and is not on prints or limited editions. Corporate and private commissions are welcome by arrangement; click here to see a selection of commissioned work.

Exhibitions are held throughout the year and gallery opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm.
