Dark Skies over Derwent Water in the English Lake District by British Artist, Rex Preston. This is a rare early atmospheric work in impasto oils from 1972, using sepia colours, in very good original condition. There is an evocative sense of the light beating down onto the water in this painting. Reframed in a high quality black wooden moulding, signed and dated on the front of the canvas, with full authentication.
